Ted Teague


Ted Teague practices in the areas of commercial real estate, construction law, corporate transactions, and civil litigation. A former Associate General Counsel of Novant Health, a multi-state not-for-profit integrated hospital and healthcare system based in Winston-Salem, and Associate General Counsel or the University of North Carolina System, Teague is a graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Law and Babcock Graduate School of Management (JD/MBA, 2002) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (BA, 1995). Before going back to graduate school, Ted founded two small businesses, one of which is still thriving today.

After law school, Ted served as a federal judicial clerk to The Honorable William L. Osteen, and then spent several years at the international law firm Kilpatrick Townsend and Stockton, where his practice focused on commercial real estate transactions and complex civil litigation. In 2008, Ted was one of 53 Americans awarded the Marshall Memorial Fellowship for travel and study in Europe, and in 2010 he was one of six Americans awarded the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations International Fellowship for travel and study in the Middle East and North Africa.
